Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to work with Asha Wheeldon on various branding projects for Kula. After working on packaging and digital content pieces, Asha reached out to begin growing her business online. I was excited to help her establish an e-commerce platform to start sharing her Afro-vegan food to more people. This was an opportunity to further refine Kula's brand as it was moving on from its first years of establishment.
As with previous brand materials, we wanted to maintain a balance of vibrant African colour schemes with clean, structured layouts. It was our intention that the contrast would allow for lively, energetic photography to pop, in turn avoiding a muddled, unrefined aesthetic.
